dsc_0022.JPGThe annual Springs Improvement Society Show will open with a party and gala on Friday night from 7-9 pm. There will be paintings, photographs, multimedia, and sculpture from the East End with most of the Springs artists participating. The Springs is a stronghold of art with a tradition that began in the 1920’s and then flourished in 1940’s when abstract expressionist painters such as Jackson Pollack move their studios to this relatively (then) inexpensive and secluded area. My piece, Flayed White Woman will be on displayed through the week-end show.
